Born and raised in the beautiful Champlain Valley nature has always nurtured and inspired me. The wild explosion of spring colors, the soothing stillness of mid-winter all have their beauty. Mix this with a frolicking sense of humor and irrepressible curiosity and you have Joyous Garden.
Joyous Garden represents the fun of curiosity, diversity and simple kindness. The artwork combines a light hearted image with a subtly profound message that inspires a sense of inclusivity and laughter. The paintings are meticulously created using the techniques of the Golden Age of Illustration. From the growing of the models (dragon excluded) to the printing of the cards every aspect is lovingly done by hand in a little studio nestled high in the Catskill Mountains.
